Another info, Epsilon no Fune debuted on #6 in Oricon daily chart. Thanks to fred for the information.

  1. This album is being as succesful as Garasu no Kaze, her second album, a fact that makes me very happy. I have listened to all the songs and I think that this album is the best she has done until now.

  2. It is also the best album for me, since this album is the only KOTOKO album that I managed to listen completely… ~_~

  3. Same for me too. I like all the new songs on it.

Looks like the interview will be up (on BARKS) on Monday (the 19th).

    • what is Barks?…..pls explain!

      • BARKS is a music website, that shows information about various artists releases, including interviews of singles and albums (whatever is released at the time) in an area called Features (which could also show that single or album’s PV, pictures, or even a video comment, it all depends on what gets shown.) The PVs are in the Music Video area of the artist’s page.

    • thanks! now is in my favorites.

  4. Woah!

Better comments than I thought from you, I’m glad ^^.

  5. Haven’t got around to listening to Epsilon, but people seem to be positive about it. :o

I’m eagerly awaiting Aibu’s review on the album though (and Yuki/Aibu, whatever happened to the I’ve in Budokan 2009 review? I vaguely remember something about you guys writing a review together? Correct me if I’m wrong.)

    • I’m working on it, Kanna-chan. however, I need to summarize it so the budokan review won’t be something endless. and, honestly, it’s a very large-scaled review to begin with, so I can’t expect to make it in short time… (I wrote my own SAVIA live review nearly two months later).

  6. i love all the songs in it
you really should hear it to Kanna
    haha
and i love maiko iuchi’s songs!! XD

  7. i liked the album
it is a good effort, and i really dig the whole space ship thing.
And also a great thing is that it has no ballads (aside from scene EW) and that’s a blessing i hate IVE ballads.

  8. my opinion about Epsilon no fune? i love it, Kotoko get’s so energetic, her voice is full of adrenaline and makes me wanna’ move… She plays again with her vocal range and does it with great joy. Last night i stood awake unthil 4 and i think i lisinted the album some 4 times, begining to end(my headphones broke…). That didn’t happened to me since when i got Hane. The PV made me smile, she looks so great when she is acting bossy!(i can’t wait to get my album in my hand). The “making of” was kinda’ bit short…but she’s fun as allways. I also remarked an album patern, Hane is like Uzu-maki and Glass no Nabikaze is like Epsilon no Fune. It’s clear to me that Epsilon is a far more better re-make (in a trance way) for Retrive(aldo Retrive is not bad). There is alot of fan-hunger for a new album and good songs from Kotoko, so the new album must sell good since meny liked it, from what i saw so far Kotoko fans liked it. So…, i say that the new album worth’s the money.

    • “Hane is like Uzu-maki and Glass no Nabikaze is like Epsilon no Fune.”

You can never compare Hane to Uzu-Maki by the way. The former was a lot better than the latter. But I have to agree that Epsilon no Fune is a good album. The previews were pretty mediocre but the full versions changed my prospective about the album.

      • “You can never compare Hane to Uzu-Maki by the way. The former was a lot better than the latter.”…

by sales…yeah…the main diference here consist’s in people’s tastes…, can’t argue on that.
i happy you like the new album!

      • well who says so?
that is YOUR opinion not everyone’s
how can you tell someone to be wrong for comparing anything? Maiku87 has all the right to say that Uzu Maki was a better album than Hane (which i also believe). Seriously a lot of people around here seems to think they have the unappealable truth, everyone has an opinion but writing stuff like
“You can never compare Hane to Uzu-Maki by the way. The former was a lot better than the latter”
        is just not ok.

pff i’m feeling the flaming already :s

  9. @ Maiku87 How did you know i was SigillumDiabole!!? XD

  10. lol and here I thought Epsilon is a far more superior upgrade version of BLAZE.

and HELLION is KOTOKO’s version of Mami’s seduce with reduced-guitar-noise. :P

  11. “Seriously a lot of people around here seems to think they have the unappealable truth, everyone has an opinion but writing stuff like
‘You can never compare Hane to Uzu-Maki by the way. The former was a lot better than the latter’
    is just not ok.”

@Army> Well probably that’s because Hane for me is KOTOKO’s best album that’s why I got defensive. :P

    • why do you allways think i’m on atack? i sed there “my opinion”. I know i like guns, swords and things that make big boom…., but that doesn’t mean i allways kill plp…i can be decent…and less frustrated.

      • hey, I’m quoting Army’s statement — not yours.

  12. I must be weird, but I’d never really liked Glass no Kaze :p (And Uzu-maki was fine).
But Epsilon is awesome… Out of the 9 new songs, I didn’t really like 1, and it’s a cover (Little Baby Nothing)… So yeah, I like all the NEW ones ;p

    • i personally quite liked “little baby nothing”as i was rather impressed by her english as i have herd much much worse =3 it was a nice little song, which i must admit i don’t listen to very often, neither do i count it as one of my favourite KOTOKO songs, but i enjoy giving her credt for her english as she owned kanze(sp?) =3
